Dr. Leah Urben is a professional with over 25 years of experience in healthcare. Dr. Urben is a native Virginian and a twenty-year resident of Marietta. Her interests include horseback riding, hiking and quality time with her three dogs, one cat and one horse.
During her professional career she has focused on helping her patients achieve optimal health through proper spinal alignment and a proper balance of diet and exercise.
Dr. Urben is
licensed by the State Board of Georgia and California and
also advanced proficiency rated in the Activator method technique.
Dr. Urben is a graduate of the five-year B.S. in Pharmacy at the University of Michigan. This gives her an extensive background in traditional medicine. She is also the director of Osteoporosis Management Program (OMP) at Wellspring Chiropractic. This program involves building healthy bones through proper nutrition, exercise and lifestyle change. Dr. Urben graduated from the four-year doctorate program at Life College in September of 1991 with Magna Cum Laude honors giving her expertise in the chiropractic healing arts. She is also a graduate of the National College of Chiropractic Physiologic Therapeutics Program. This advanced training in physiologic therapeutics provides Dr. Urben with a strong background in speeding the healing of soft tissue injuries.
Dr. Urben is the Outreach Director with the Kennesaw Mountain Trail Club, a nonprofit trail advocacy group. She is a member of the Georgia Chiropractic Association and the International Chiropractic Honor Society.
